Make me go slow

-->
make me go slow
In a wind that knows its pace
and the passing vehicles race,
Only a pillion and solace
That makes me go slow.

For the rush is all abase
And one scrams to evade embrace,
Yet a pillion and solace
That makes me go slow.

A journey that was a furlong
but the company was yearned for long
So the pillion and solace
Only made me go more slow.

For the tantrums that you throw
And so much I need to show,
I wish the time would move a little slow
Alas I could do nothing but only go too slow.

KNOW HER WELL

Know her Well

I know her so well, that from her “Hello” I can tell
She just woke-up, She’s upset or if she’s unwell

Like a heavenly bolt, that reverses the pole

And makes the human magnet realign its goal!

Counting Crows

Counting Crows

One is for Sorrow, Two is for Joy,
They stood near the sill and looked a bit coy;
One is for Sorrow, Two is for Joy,
They knew it was only a voodoo decoy.

One is for Sorrow, Two is for Joy,
The maid saw one and searched another for Joy;
One is for Sorrow, Two is for Joy,
She looked through the chap as if it were a toy.

Down came the one and down came the two,
And maid turn around after second birds’ view;
But as she moved around and her head turned about,
She saw again a single bird which made her lips pout.

With a rolled up sleeve and a skyline she peeked,
She looked out of the window for a mainah pair she seek;
Some minutes passed away and the crows did sneak,
And a wanting avian scape only made her weak.

For One is for Sorrow and Two is for Joy,
A mainah mattered more than the neighbourhood boy;
But she meant no harm that worked as a charm,
And a mainah took its place to put her to calm.

There... that’s the view! She snapped her little fingers for she had seen Two,
And then moved around and whisked away from view
So he only saw the only bird in view.

But that isn’t fable and not where this ends,
It only gave the superstition some computative bends,
For One is For Sorrow, and Two is For Joy
But Three is for a Girl and Four is for a Boy.
And Five is for Silver and Six is for Gold,
And Seven for Secret never to be told.
